As the Indigenous Relations and Engagement Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in advancing the company’s relationships with First Nations communities as an industry partner for Indigenous peoples. This position requires an experienced Indigenous relations professional with strong connections within Indigenous communities and with Indigenous leaders. This individual will also support the design and implementation of Canfor’s Indigenous engagement initiatives, aiming to build and strengthen relationships with Indigenous communities throughout the Kootenay Region. The role covers Cranbrook, Elko, Radium, and Creston areas, and the successful candidate may be based in any of these communities, with frequent travel required.
