EXTERNAL JOB POSTING:
Ktunaxa Nation Council is seeking a self-motivated, resourceful person willing and interested in developing in the position. It is helpful to have a strong interest in working in the outdoors, a positive attitude and willingness to learn, good communication skills and a strong sense of community.
This position focuses mainly conducting archaeological/cultural fieldwork, but has the ability to
participate in forestry, biological, and environmental fieldwork within ʔamakʔis Ktunaxa. We encourage
[NK1]all Ktunaxa who live in ʔamakʔis Ktunaxa to apply. It requires a willingness to undertake physical
work at times, hike through forests, in wetlands, over rough and at times steep terrain and may include
some occasional night time work.
The position conducts logistical planning for fieldwork which includes consideration of general safety
precautions and the ability to make updates to plans while working in the field.
This is a full-time permanent position with full benefits.
